How it works

Sworn is deliberately simple: one task, one amount, one deadline, one piece of proof.

Nothing is charged when you pledge
Your amount is placed as a hold (a pre-authorisation) on your card through Apple Pay. The money stays with your bank — Sworn never holds your funds.

Proof must be captured live, in the app
Photos and videos are taken inside Sworn. Camera roll uploads are not accepted, so old or borrowed evidence can't be submitted.

Every submission gets a reference code
You'll see a code like SW-4K7Q-92 the moment you submit. Keep it — it's how you can raise a dispute if you think our review got it wrong.

Reviewed by the end of your due date
Every proof is checked and decided by the end of the day you promised. Accepted proof releases your hold in full.
5
Miss it and the hold is collected
If the deadline passes with no accepted proof, the hold is captured. 75% of Sworn's revenue goes to the charity you selected.
